Roland Intros TR-6S Rhythm Performer – 2023

TR-6S Rhythm Performer today has introduced three new instruments in its TR drum machine family.

• The TR-6S Rhythm Performer is based on their flagship TR-8S, but in a compact and more affordable form factor.
• The TR-6S as packs a pretty impressive amount of features into a small and portable machine, which, by the way, can also be battery powered.

The Roland TR-6S is six tracks of advanced drum sequencing that features the most iconic rhythm sounds in music history—all in a battery-powered box that fits just about anywhere. With the familiar step sequencer, plus dedicated faders and knobs, it’s easy to craft custom beats with visceral, hands-on control.

In this Rhythm Performer, David Åhlund demonstrates the TR-6S’s deep sound library and its powerful sequencing capabilities, covering the basics to get you started as well as a glimpse into advanced tips and tricks.
